Biography

Laura Anne Harris is a performer, clown, writer, director, and Artistic Producer of Destination Ink Productions. Born and raised in Victoria, B.C.,  Laura graduated from the University of Victoria’s Acting program in 2007 before making her home in Toronto, Ontario.  

Laura acted in Meg Braem’s production of The Josephine Knot directed by Amiel Gladstone and presented at the Belfry Theatre.  In addition Laura was featured in the WHOS (William Head on Stage,) production of Waiting for Godot.

In 2008 Laura moved to Toronto to focus on new play development.  She has worked with Pivitol (Arts,) The Tarragon Theatre, Glasswater Theatre, The Steady State Theatre Project and Theatre Kairos. Most recently Laura starred in The Steady State Theatre Project’s I Will Not Hatch by Maya Rabinovitch.  She will be traveling this summer to Edmonton Fringe with this production and she couldn’t be more excited!
